Classpass is a high-quality fitness service that offers multiple types of exercise classes and studios across the world in cities. They are one of the most popular fitness services for the last two years and are growing at a massive rate. Since I’ve reviewed and covered ClassPass already (start there), this post will focus on some of the best fitness classes they have to offer.

What is ClassPass? 

ClassPass is an app that allows you to explore all things fitness and wellness. Instead of a gym membership to multiple gyms, ClassPass allows you to drop-in at participating gyms anywhere in the world! 

What are the best classes on ClassPass.com? 

The easiest way to check for the best classes in your area is through the website or app, enter your zip code and filter for the best classes.

  • Yoga Classes – If a heated room isn’t your thing, this studio offers unheated Vinyasa and Yin classes. Do you enjoy yoga? When your body feels stiff or stressed, it can be therapeutic to stretch and flow. With Vinyasa, or moving yoga, you are always moving, to energize your body. Yin, or still yoga, has slower movements that are more about releasing. 
  • Kickboxing Classes – If you’re looking for a non-traditional workout, Kickboxing classes are some of the best on ClassPass. Focusing on both cardio exercises and strength training, Kickboxing classes are no joke. Plus, because it’s open to all skill levels, you’re guaranteed to be challenged even if it’s your first day. If this is something you want to pursue, you’ll need to invest in some boxing gloves, and perhaps boxing headgear if you decide to eventually spar.
  • Zumba Classes – Zumba is a total body workout which combines dance and aerobic moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness experience. It may be the most fun you ever had in the gym. If a big group class is what you’re looking for, a Zumba class will give you that, and more. They combine high-impact aerobics, easy to follow dance moves, and upbeat Latin music to give you a total body workout. Add some Latin flavor to your treadmills and weight benches today. 
  • Crossfit Classes –  You likely have never done anything that could begin to tone you up like CrossFit. The exercises are designed to make you stronger, faster, leaner, and more agile.
  • They should start by doing a period of periodized weightlifting, which will increase their strength. After five weeks, they’ll be asked to do “Workout Of The Day”, which will alternate between strength-focused workouts, metabolic conditioning workouts, and skill-based workouts.
  • Spin Cycle Classes –  A great cycling shed with spin bikes. It features the latest technology in cycling to get you cycling for a longer period of time. The spin bikes are all on the newest technology so you exercise more calories. There are spin bikes spread out on the floor of the shed. Some are against the wall while others are in the middle of the room. There are also mats on the ground for newbies or people with knee issues. 
  • Dance Class – You can’t make this class boring because the feeling of accomplishment is unparalleled after finishing your dance routine. 
  • Strength Training Class – This class is especially great for those who are starting to feel tight in their chest.
  • HIIT Classes –  These are high intensity interval workouts, where you go through fast-paced combinations of lower impact exercises. If you’ve never tried HIIT before, it can be intimidating to sign up for classes. But this is one of the best ways to get the most out of your subscription. These classes are designed to get you out of your comfort zone, so don’t hesitate to try them! 
  • MMA Classes –  People who are looking to get fit often think about starting with a gym. The problem is, they never seem to know which style of gym will be best for them. But with the MMA class offered on ClassPass, you can do all of your favorite exercises and never get bored.

Does ClassPass have a free trial?  

ClassPass’ free trial depends on your region. For most, Classpass does have a free trial that allows users to take two classes at no cost. After the two classes, you will be charged the monthly or annual subscription fee. 

ClassPass Pricing – How Much Does ClassPass cost?  

ClassPass is a subscription-style service that allows its users to take as many yoga, spin, barre, pilates, cardio, and dance classes as they like. Pricing varies from city to city, but most plans start at $29 in exchange for credits. 
The amount of credits a class will cost varies, but you can always check the website or app for an idea. 

Is Classpass worth the price? 

Whether or not Classpass is worth it or not will vary from person to person. If you’re the type to have multiple gym memberships, then yes, you can save a lot of money consolidating it into one plan. 
For me, ClassPass is worth the price because it gives you more convenience and flexibility. You can make reservations at the gym that is most convenient to you. It is also quite easy to cancel reservations on the fly if your plans change.

Does ClassPass have participating gyms in Hawaii? 

Yes, ClassPass has many gyms in Honolulu (Oahu) and Maui.
